Compare these stats year over year to 2019 where we saw 52 luxury homes in Edmonton sell over $700,000. Activity levels remain almost unchanged year over year as the latest surge in activity is evident after months of more stringent COVID-19 measures are eased.
In contrast, in the Rural Markets surrounding the Edmonton CMA region, which includes Rural Sturgeon County, Rural Strathcona County, Rural Parkland County, Rural Wetaskiwin County, Rural Leduc County, and Rural St. Paul County 28 luxury homes sold in June of 2019. 2020 saw an increase to 38 Rural Luxury Homes sales a 35 percent increase.
